Founding Philosophy of Japan Nanomedicine Society

Nanomedicine is a concept born from the miracle of the completion of genome decoding in 2003, which demonstrated the principle that all structures and functions of life, and therefore medicine, can be solved on the basis of molecules, and the coincidental emergence of nanotechnology as a means to implement this principle. The Japan Nanomedicine Society will promote activities such as international symposiums with the aim of learning together about new science in this new interdisciplinary field, from the basics to applications, reflecting it in our own research activities, and returning the results to society.
